International Legalization
Embassy and consulate legalization for non-Hague countries.
When your documents are destined for a country that is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, an apostille is not sufficient. These documents must be legalized through a chain of authentications ending at the destination country's embassy or consulate. We manage every step and work directly with embassies and consulates to ensure full compliance with each country's specific requirements.
When legalization is required
Countries outside the Hague Convention — including many in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa — require consular legalization rather than an apostille. The process typically involves notarization, state authentication, U.S. Department of State authentication, and finally legalization by the destination country's embassy or consulate.
We work directly with embassies and consulates
Every country sets its own stringent guidelines for document legalization, and those rules change frequently. We maintain working relationships with the embassies and consulates of countries around the world so that we can verify the current requirements and prepare your documents to meet them precisely the first time.
End-to-end handling
From the first notarization through final consular legalization, we navigate the bureaucracy on your behalf, track each stage, and return your completed documents securely. Where certified translation is required by the destination country, we coordinate that as part of the same order.
